Our silence against the innocent killings of people in Pakistan is a defiance against Islam

Friday, July 2, 2010

In Islam, a fatwa is described as a definitive statement from the wisdom of the greatest religion of the world. In truth, the western world is now deciphering the very elements of the crude elements that are demolishing the existence of Pakistan. The very root causes will be found in the ISI offices, Pentagon head quarters and Indian intelligence agencies. You have to be really sick to really kill so many innocent people like this. Only the worst enemies can annihilate with such momentum and force.

I was there in the morning at the shrine before this occurred. To the people who have no clue regarding the shrine, it belongs to one of the great Sufi saints of the world of Islam. Data ganj baksh was revered as the great sage of his time that propagated Islam and converted millions of people. This is the magic of the man who had hundreds die at his footsteps today.
In Islam, the Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) once said to revolt against the people who contradict Islam. Islam is the message of peace. Any religious sect or any government who fortifies crimes and goes against humanity is truly a Kafir. A kafir that goes against the morality of Islam. The governor of Punjab Salman Taseer is a heavy drinker and Shahbaz Sharif is fond of multiple women. This is not a perspective but a daily habit of these cruel and barbaric kafirs. I gave a few amounts of change to one of their guards and they told me the quantity and quality of women and wine that come to their offices and homes.

Many of my friends have died today. Interestingly enough, no revolt against the people or the government. We are leading are our lives as if nothing happened. Again the Muslim communities residing in Lahore, Pakistan is silent. The revolution will never begin even after another barbaric attempt of killing the harmony of hundreds of families. This is a country whose president has a fraud case against him, the governor of Lahore Salman Taseer drinks openly and the Punjab Chief Minister is simply in love with women. In Islam, it is mandatory to revolt against harm and the killings of innocent lives. Look at Hussain and how he laid his life to save the principles of truth. As Muslims today, we are silent. And our silence is Kufar. Kufar means the defiance against Islam. Today, I write this poem with a broken heart. Through this you will realize how we died together but were buried separately. Wake up Pakistan!

Our silence is Kufar (defiance of Islam)

As we bury our mutilated bodies

We accept gifts from the PPP and PML elected donkeys

We let our tears dry with the towels of insanity

Today, again Lahore is colored red

Red as my blood

Red as the blood of my uncle who died in the Allama Iqbal town massacres

Red as the faces of the children who die each day innocently in the streets of Peshawar

Red as your wine Salman Taseer!

That you drink each night before a woman entices you

Red as the brick walls of the palace of Shahbaz Sharif

He cannot see the red swollen eyes of the children who have buried their fathers

Fatherless men have no morals

It is to be written in history today

That our silence is defiance of Islam

We shall no longer declare ourselves as Muslims

We cannot hang the culprits

We cannot wipe away the guilt

Innocent Ahmedi community massacred during worship – insane and barbaric acts of terrorism

Friday, May 28, 2010

Today Pakistan cries over the deaths of 90 of her children. Innocently massacred during prostration and veneration to Allah. Another moment that will be written down in history with tears and broken hearts. Beautiful faces wiped away from the surface of this earth without reason and meaning. Martyrdom for all those that die in innocence.
Though I am not Ahmedi, nonetheless, my closest friends and certain family members belong to this noble segment of the community. And I have found them to be well versed, educated, decent and the most sincere and revered citizens of Pakistan. And for me that is the most important aspect to consider. This community is the only segment of Pakistan who has given us leaders, scholars and scientists of international repute. The only organized religious affiliated group that provides medical and healthcare free of cost to millions of people irrespective of the variance of their religion. Is that commendable? Should be not take pride in the most constructive asset that we have?

Remember that recently Pakistan was bombarded with nightmare events. Hundreds of people have died. Millions of families devastated. Fate changed the course of events for thousands of people due to this war on terrorism. Sad that our families and friends have died in this tragic incidents. I have lost several important friends today in this bloody bath of uncivilized crime. This is the most heinous crime that can be committed. For the souls, we pray. For the people who leave us, we offer our humble condolences.
I am saddened to know that the newspapers are writing that Ahmedi community massacred. Why not state that another 90 innocent Pakistani lives taken. I have written a poem for the martyrs.

When the devil entered the house of worship
His heart beats turned to stone
As his bullets pierces souls
Prostrating in veneration to their lord
Our Lord!
Children, youth and grandparents line up for heaven
Today
Our beloved friends and family have died
In a blood bath that will be written in history with tears
And broken hearts
Innocence brutally massacred
Hopes, futures, and dreams shot down without remorse
Pakistan looks on
Injured and shaken
Fainted by the smell of our blood on amputated hands
We long to say our goodbyes to another color of Pakistan
Diminishing as we bury our bodies tonight
Our emblem burnt
In the name of Islam
Someone commits a crime
A crime that no religion acknowledges
Our innocent graves will testify
That we speak of peace and tolerance
Ahmedi’s is the star of our flag
And you rip us apart
As we pray?

Tonight all of Pakistan is united in the regretful and heinous sin. May Allah rest their souls in peace.

GCU Old Ravians Association Dinner invites Justice Lahore High Court who comes in a Mercedes Benz- our tax money!!

GCU
GCU Old Ravians Association Dinner

We gathered around a predominantly fun crowd that had one main theme in common. Their Alma matter had provided them the opportunity to move forward and become the people that they are. Interestingly enough, the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court was invited as the chief guest. Hundreds flocked the main grounds in anticipation of meeting their old class mates and reviving memories of their golden years. The ambiance has drastically changed now. New faces have evolved and the old ones gone with the wind. I guess that is life. There is no substitute to life. No replacing the teachers that brought forth generations of time.
I was appalled to realize how far the institution has gone in terms of supporting and contributing to the corruption and the overall manifestation of inflation. The chief justice came on a Mercedes Benz with a plethora of police guards. Wasn’t the duty of this contingent responsible to save our lives and not this man alone? This Mercedes Benz is a gift from our tax money? Really, even the chief justice of the different states of America does not have these facilities yet our highness believes that it is his duty. Is this the culture and dignity that GC has bestowed upon his students that have grown up to become judges that run off of such high tax money? Does anyone remember the legacies of Hazrat Umar?
Have we forgotten that the judges or qazi’s belonged to the system and had a close relationship with the masses? No trial was greater than a few years. Here cases have lingered on and the people supporting and defending it have all died. This is reality. This is Pakistan.
Oh nations of peace, oh institutions of repute endorse the society with good governance. When would a day come when the entire government officers come into their offices in the local and public transportations?
Another sad state of affairs was the high traffic jams of gulshan-e-ravi. The road is being built again and again. Traffic jams and the police office cars vamoose pass the scenes oblivious to the people stuck in traffic.
Is this not the Pakistan we created? Enough is enough.
